Funds raised for London Youth hit £1,500 following charity quiz night
13th March, 2017
The total amount raised for our charity partner London Youth has hit £1,500 following a charity quiz night hosted by our London Bridge branch.
More than 90 people attended the night held last week at the Slug and Lettuce, Waterloo, with the event itself raising over £400 - double the initial target.
The money raised goes towards our overall target of £60,000 by the end of 2017.
Daniel Montaque, Sales Manager at KFH London Bridge, said: “It was a fantastic night and I’m really grateful to everyone who came and helped add to the fundraising we’re doing this year. London Youth do exceptional work across the Capital and we want to do all we can to raise awareness and much needed funds for the youth groups and clubs they support”
As well as raising money and awareness for London Youth, KFH is also supporting 11 specific youth clubs and groups local to our branches and offices.
You can make a donation to London Youth via our JustGiving page.
In addition to the Slug and Lettuce, Waterloo, we are very grateful to Niche Communications, Franco Manca and Hawksmoor Borough for their contributions to the evening and to the team at the Bunch of Grapes, Borough, for their generosity in offering to host the event before numbers meant a larger venue was required.
