KFH fundraising passes £77,000

13th October, 2018

KFH has passed £77,000 in its 2018 fundraising effort for London Youth.

The milestone was reached as 51 members of staff took on a gruelling 5km Tough Mudder obstable run on Clapham Common on Friday night.

The staff taking part in the event raised nearly £13,000 between them which takes the overall KFH fundraising to a total of £77,156 for the year. With over two months of fundraising still to go this year, the total has already surpassed the overall amount raised across the whole of 2017.

Participation in the Tough Mudder was coordinated by some of KFH’s London Youth Ambassadors – members of KFH staff who have volunteered to help steer the partnership and champion the fundraising effort internally.

Robert Cornthwaite, sales manager at KFH Streatham and London Youth Ambassador, said: “It was hard work, but all the effort has been worthwhile and everyone who took part had great fun. Seeing our overall fundraising already surpass last year’s total is amazing. London Youth are a fantastic organisation and we can’t wait to see how much we can raise for them by the end of December.”
