KFH launches online voting campaign for art competition
15th May, 2012
Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward has today, 15 May, launched an online campaign on the company’s Completely London blog for its Primary Schools’ artwork competition. Primary schools are competing to win one of three £2,500 prizes for sports/playground equipment.
Paul Masters, Group Marketing and Operations Director of Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward, comments: “Social media is an important tool in marketing today. Through the launch of this online campaign on our blog, we hope to get local communities, parents and friends of the schools involved and supporting their school, while at the same time building our social media interaction and presence and increasing our brand awareness.”
The company will be running a two week Facebook advertising campaign alongside the competition.
45 creative entries from children across London are showcased in a gallery on the Completely London blog and also accessed from the London estate agent’s Completely London Facebook page. Users of the social networking site are invited to cast their vote by selecting their favourite image. Regionally, the three schools with the most votes will receive one of three £2,500 prizes and their artwork will then be judged by Nadia Williams, the UK’s leading triple jump champion, for the top prize of £7,500, giving the winning school a total donation of £10,000.
Voting opens from today, 15 May to 28 May 2012. The prize winners will be announced in June.
