KFH100 challenge - Danica Macnab

Congratulations to Danica Macnab (Senior Lettings Negotiator, Muswell Hill) for walking 60m underwater in one single breath for KFH100. The underwater walk took place on Saturday 12 June at Ware Lido in Hertfordshire.
Danica comments: "It was a fun challenge to take part in. I carried a 6kg hand weight, 1.9kg around my neck and 8gk around my waist to keep me underwater. Coming back up the slope at the deep end after my first length felt like running up a hill with the resistance of water. I loved every minute of it and I was happy to be able to raise some money for a brilliant cause."
Danica is an experienced freediver and a mermaid in her spare time. She is planning to do a longer underwater walk later in the year, so watch this space!
