Our year with London Youth so far
13th July, 2022
We are officially into the second half of 2022, and it has been a busy six months of fundraising for our charity partner, London Youth.
Some of the highlights include:
-
In March, 13 of our people from our south east branch network climbed Mount Snowdon and raised over £6,000
-
The south east region raised £425 in a charity football match
-
Block Management and the Technology team went head to head in a six-a-side game, collectively raising £390
-
Our south west region held a raffle at their social event, raising over £1,000
-
Jesse Damon (Crystal Palace Lettings Branch Director) kindly donated a signed Manchester United shirt which was auctioned off for £250
-
More recently, a number of KFH staff participated in the annual KFH golf day which raised £1,200
-
Just last week 13 of our people hiked up Scafell Pike Mountain and raised over £3,328
What else have we got planned?
In September, we are once again organising an off-road 100km mountain bike ride from Weybridge to Brighton. Last year the team raised over £3,000 for London Youth, so we are hoping for the same success.
Other upcoming activities include Emma Munday (LWC Manager), Josh Collins (Sales Negotiator, Balham) and Robert Owen (Senior Team Leader, Lettings Property Management) taking part in the London Marathon in October, a number of brave colleagues doing a 160ft bungee jump off the O2 area, a 26-mile walk via all of our south east branches, pub quizzes, raffles, and even more football games.
How much have we raised?
So far this year, we have collectively raised £12,347 for London Youth. This will have made a huge difference to young people across London.
